Seriously...why is this site still getting like 50 hits a week?  I even got a new subscriber last week?!

I've opened the entry window a couple of times only to realize that I just don't care.

I'm not saying I'm NEVER going to write here again but I'm definitely not renewing my premium in January and I wouldn't be at all offended if you unsubscribed.

If for some reason you want to keep up with my day-to-day life (and not even I want to) and you're on Facebook, I'm there just about 24/7.  Message me or comment or whatever newfangled thing Xanga has and I'll add you.  Or if you know my name or e-mail address you can find me.

This does not mean that I'm not occasionally reading your stuff so don't talk about me behind my (virtual) back. ;)

Much love and hugs.

Happy Birthday!

It may not show a picture yet but the video is working.

Sigh.  There have been quite a few times when I have come close to quitting Xanga but I've never been more inclined than I am right now.  I feel like Xanga has no relevance for me anymore.  I have very little to say.  I spend most of my time on facebook.  Not to mention all the changes the Xanga gods have been making.  **FYI to them: I really really hate the new personal front page thing.  I know that I have the option right now to continue using the old one but eventually you will make me use the new one and I will be very unhappy.**  My premium subscription doesn't run out until January though and I feel like it would be wasteful if I just stopped using it.  I don't know.  Then there's the fact that there's several awesome people on here who I've not yet found on other places on the net.  I'd miss them terribly.

Moving on...

It's no secret that I dislike my name.  All 3 of them.  At some point in middle or high school Ashley started calling me Susie and I liked that better than Susannah so I let it continue.  I thought it was cute.   Then when I got to college, my friends there decided to call me Susie, once again with no prompting from me.  It stuck.  It's gotten to the point now where I occasionally introduce myself as Susie.  That's all well and good.  But what about in a professional situation?  I think Susie seems sort of childish and familiar.  That's one reason I never let my professors call me Susie.  But what about Sue?  I'm considering using that in professional situations.  I'm not sure if I look like a Sue, though.  On the other hand, do I look like a Susannah or a Susie?  I don't think so.  But maybe.  I've known several Sues and the main one who springs to mind right now I greatly admire and would be proud to bear her name.  But I also have to think about the implications.  With my last name, people could say things like, "I'm gonna SUE you, you bad DRIVER!"  (Hence ONE reason I dislike my last name.)  People are mean.  It might happen. Once again...I don't know.

My life is now complete. I look relatively similar to Kate Winslet.

%1

Although it must be said that I had a closer match with Patrick Stewart.   My other match was someone I've never heard of but she's quite pretty.

I know that no one gives a rat's patooty about this list but I thought maybe if I made it public I would be more inclined to finish everything on it.

1. Wash and fold clothes.
2. Clean toilet.
3. Dust every single nasty surface in the house.
4. Clean sink and counter top.
5. Clean tub.
6. Wash and re-hang shower curtain.
7. Wash sheets.
8. Clean room.
9. Vacuum all floors.
10. Wash dishes.
11. Actually put clean dishes away instead of just taking them out of the dishwasher as needed.
12. Do taxes.
13. Mail poem to Nancy.
14. Clean closet.  EURGH!
15. Put latest photos on Flickr.

I've wanted to read this book since I saw the preview for the movie a month or two ago.  FINALLY, a book I'm really excited about reading!  I'm already pretty far into it.  It's sucking me in.  I'm glad because the last few things I've read just didn't thrill me at all.  I also got the Complete Grimm's Fairy Tales, which I'm also pretty excited about.

Note to self: STOP HEMORRHAGING MONEY!
